6800
Flatcar with Airplane
Introduced in 1957, the 6800 brought aviation fun to Lionel layouts. Because
of the design of the airplane tooling, two variations of this car were
on the shelves of dealers at the same time. One version had the plane
with a black top and yellow bottom, while the other was reversed - yellow
on top, black on the bottom. Using the same tool that Lionel did in 1957,
this modern version offers the same variety of the original. Be sure to
look for both!
