Halt

For emergency use only. Stops all locomotives and may turn off accessories and track power.

ENG/TR Toggle

Tap to Toggle between Engine and Train control. To learn more about “Trains,” a way to control multiple locomotives that are coupled together as a single unit, refer to your Lionel hand-held remote Owner’s Manual.

ENG/TR ID ID

Touch to change TMCC ID’s. The current value determines which Engine or Train locomotive motion controls are directed to. One unique feature of LCS App is that each custom control panel “remembers” the last locomotive you operated from that screen and re-loads that TMCC ID when that control panel is opened.

Locomotive Selection Shortcuts

You can also recall a list of recently operated locomotives by pressing the Engine/Train button and holding a couple seconds. A pop up window appears (see below). Tap the ID/Name of a recently used locomotive to run it.

Road vs. Yard Mode Toggle

To switch between ROAD and YARD mode, simply tap the ROAD/YARD button. It will toggle between the two options.

In YARD mode, the slider works in a new and unique way. When in the center position, your engine is stopped. Drag the slider slightly to the right or left and you’ll see the loco move in that direction. This is convenient for yard operation—you’ll spend less time stopping and hitting the DIR button and more time shuttling rolling stock.

Speed Graph

The LCS App Speed Graph matches the behavior of the Lionel CAB2/LEGACY handheld remote. For more information, refer to the CAB2’s Owner’s Manual. Note that the current numerical value of the speed step is displayed on the Speed Graph.

Speed Limit

LCS App supports and observes Speed Limits stored in the command base. These speed limits must be set using your Lionel CAB remote, they cannot be set from LCS App. Note than if speed limits are changed from a CAB Remote, LCS App will only update to the new value after one of the following operations:
  • Changing Direction
  • Changing the Engine ID
  • Closing and displaying the Engine Selection Shortcut (see above)
  • Opening and closing the Engine Roster page.
  • Switching between Yard and Road modes.

Momentum

LCS App supports and observes engine Momentum stored in the command base. Momentum must be set using your Lionel CAB remote, it cannot be set from LCS App. Note than if Momentum is changed from a CAB Remote, LCS App will only update to the new value after one of the following operations:
  • Changing Direction
  • Changing the Engine ID
  • Closing and displaying the Engine Selection Shortcut (see above)
  • Opening and closing the Engine Roster page.
  • Switching between Yard and Road modes.

These buttons have the same function as those on your CAB remote. Refer to your Lionel hand-held remote Owner’s Manual for more information.
