Lenny Dean's legendary service at Lionel spanned more than six decades. From his humble beginnings as a teenager at the company's New Jersey assembly line, to his work in the service department in the 1940s and rise to manager, to his celebrated position as a Lionel spokesperson and diplomat after his "official" retirement, Lenny was a consummate train aficionado and a Lionel goodwill ambassador throughout his career. Now hobbyists can keep Lenny in their hearts and memories with two special cars--a commemorative Lenny Dean boxcar and a Legends of Lionel passenger coach. A portion of the proceeds for these cars will be donated to a charity designated by the family of Lenny Dean.
