Boston & Maine TMCC RS-3 Diesel #1538
This powerful 1600-HP Alco workhorse of the early 1950s was popular with railroads because of its versatility. The Erie-Lackawanna RS-3 #933 was inherited from the Erie Railroad and used in both passenger and freight service. The Boston & Maine #1538, decorated in its original Minuteman scheme, was used primarily as a road switcher.
