Nickel Plate Road TMCC 2-8-4 Berkshire #779
Created by the Lima Locomotive Company, Berkshires were among the last great steam locomotive designs. The Nickel Plate Road was especially known for its fleet of these "Superpower" 2-8-4 steamers. The all-new, scale-sized Nickel Plate Road Berkshire includes the latest Lionel features, such as our new synchronized smoke unit and FatBoy speaker system. The locomotive maintains a high level of detail throughout including separately applied piping and accurate builder's plates. It even includes a realistic Mars light with pulsating, not simply flashing, action.
