Keep cool with new insulated boxcars! Although these cars lacked refrigeration equipment, their insulated bodies kept non-perishables at steady temperatures in both hot and cold climates. Often found in food and beverage service, these cars hauled many products over the years. Colorful graphics were also common to help these priority cars stick out in a yard of "boxcar red."
