Lionel Unveils Newest Release at the National Train Show®
More News
The Lionel team rolled their way in to the National Train
Show® in Indianapolis, IN July 8-10 with a brand-new item to unveil, leaving
many attendees excited to see what is next for the 116 year old company. The National Train Show® was established in
1988 by the National Model Railroad Association as a nationally sponsored
combined industry trade and public show to promote the hobby of model
railroading.
Predominantly popular for the HO train enthusiast, the NMRA
and National Train Show® was the perfect place to show consumers for the first
time the HO Polar Express release! Our
10 x 20 booth gave HO train hobbyist the opportunity to see the new release in
person and ask any questions they may have to members of our production team
who was also in attendance.

For the non HO train fans, Lionel featured numerous O-Gauge
trains – including the new John Deere Freight LionChief™ set that is scheduled
to ship in October and the FlyerChief™ Southern Berkshire Engine. In addition to those items, a 3D printed GG1
was showcased and the ever-so-popular recently released SD40’s too.
The team is already excited about the next National Train
Show® that is scheduled to be in Orlando, FL in August of 2017. We hope to see
you there!
