2016 Train Collectors Association Fall York Meet

Train enthusiasts and Lionel folks alike were all aboard at the 2016 Fall TCA York Meet October 20-23 in York, PA. This year the Lionel team gave everyone the opportunity to go home with something new!

For the first time at York Meet the Lionel team offered a wide variety of novelty and Holiday Memory items for purchase. The assortment ranged from adult Lionel t-shirts to Angela Trotta Thomas ornaments and house flags. Are you a big The Polar Express™ fan? We had those items for purchase too. Didn’t make it to the show this year? No worries – we plan to return in the spring with a lot more items for sale.

Lionel displayed the latest products shown in the 2016 Volume 2 Catalog at the TCA Fall 2016 Meet

In addition to being able to purchase new gear, the team rounded up a ton of new samples for the show – including the highly anticipated VisionLine GG1 locomotive. Also on display on the bright blue slat walls were recently announced products from our 2016 Volume 2 catalog. What was one of our favorites? It had to be the LionChief Plus Halloween Mikado engine…a spooky yet cool take on a great line of product.

Our Dealer Exclusive Sets made their way around the show as well, featured on one of our popular orange and blue towers on the back wall. We also had the opportunity to show some of our newer LionChief™ sets that are shipping out in November 2016 – Disney, John Deere Steam and MLB!
