Celebrate the Milwaukee Road – TrainFest 2016

TrainFest 2016 kicked off November 12, 2016 by celebrating the Milwaukee Road and the Lionel team was all hands on to enjoy the fan of the annual show.

As a popular and well attended event in the Midwest, TrainFest gives guests the opportunity to explore model railroading in every category. With over five football fields full of train displays, model railroad clubs and the leading train manufacturers in the industry, Lionel enjoyed bringing joy to children’s faces at the show this year.

The biggest item showcased in our high end line was the VisionLine GG1 that is scheduled to ship before Christmas 2016. Train enthusiast of all ages truly enjoyed the pre-production sample. For all the LionChief™ Plus Lionel fans, we proudly displayed the newest engines from our Signature two catalog including the Halloween LionChief™ Plus Mikado and the Presidential engine too. In addition to the newer engines on display, children loved playing with the Disney Christmas set on one of our play stations that just recently started shipping to customers in early November 2016 and the Harry Potter Hogwarts LionChief™ set that is available for purchase now.
