Lionel at Chicago Toy & Game Week

For the first time ever, Lionel attended the Chicago Toy & Game Week to kick off the holiday season showcasing our newest Mega Tracks release and the ever so popular LionChief™ Ready-to-Run Train Sets. The two day show, which is open to the public, gives families and kids of all ages the opportunity to add to their growing Christmas lists.

The 20’ x 20’ booth located directly in the middle of the Navy Pier Festival Hall had four separate play areas that featured two Mega Tracks stations and two train stations. While running the Disney Christmas LionChief™ and the Polar Express LionChief™ set, children had the opportunity to be engineers for the day and run their very own train. Also available was the chance to see and run their own Mega Tracks Corkscrew Chaos set, both the red and green cars were available to be run.

Families are engaging with the Lionel Mega Tracks display at the Chicago Toy Game Week at Navy Pier Festival Hall

While the families had fun checking out the hottest toys of 2016, the Lionel team also had a good time meeting members of the Star Wars family, Pikachu and a TMNT! Fans were out in full force for this show and we learned quickly they love trains too!
