celebration of their 115th anniversary Lionel partnered with over
130 local hobby shops nationwide to celebrate the first annual National Lionel
Train Day on December 5, 2015.
Every dealer that participated in the day event received a
complimentary kit featuring posters, wristbands, tattoos and engineer hats to
give out to the public. Also added to
the festivities was the opportunity for anyone who was interested to purchase a
2015 National Lionel Train Day Boxcar on December 5 only. In addition, one Lionel Team member was sent
to a direct dealer to participate.
The Concord, NC office also hosted an event that day,

Santa Clause made an appearance for the children who featured printed photo
opportunities and the tent even had a coloring station for the little ones.
