Erie Brass Hybrid LEGACY 4-4-0 #326 Henry Hobbs Built by Rogers for the New York and Erie in 1866, locomotive 326 was named for Division Superintendent Henry Hobbs. The 6' broad gauge locomotive was richly adorned with polished brass domes and cylinders, nickel plated name plates, a cameo of Hobbs between the drivers and painted murals on the tender and headlight. The cab was a polished walnut and gold leaf details highlighted everything from the cab walls to the sandbox to the ends of the driver axles. The Erie spared no expense on this one! Although we've narrowed her wheelbase to fit your O gauge tracks (the prototype would also be re-gauged after a few years of service) we've kept all of that as-delivered beauty in place.
