Erie TMCC 4-6-0 Camelback #860
At under $450, these upgraded Camelback steamers mark the lowest priced, scale-sized Lionel steam locomotives ever offered with the TrainMaster Command Control system. Once popular in both freight and passenger service, the distinctive wide firebox of the Camelback allowed it to burn cheap waste anthracite coal common on many Eastern railroads. The Lionel Camelbacks feature upgrades from their original release such as an improved RailSounds sound system with controls conveniently hidden under the opening tender water hatch, and an opening cab roof hatch. Each road name is available in two versions: TMCC-equipped and conventional transformer control only. Both versions feature the realistic RailSounds sound system.
