Illinois Central Pullman-Standard 60' Boxcar
The Pullman Standard 60-foot boxcar was originally designed in the 1960’s to standardize automakers’ options for shipping auto parts loads across the country. In addition to a new boxcar design, their interiors were stripped clean of racks, bins, and other fixtures, and containerized loads were fork-lifted into the boxcar. This scale-sized Standard O car is available in a singledoor version that includes accurate, separately applied details. It also features customized details to match the actual car, including distinct ladder type, roof equipment, and brake gear.
